Dating back to the turn of the 12th and 13th centuries, these Gothic ruins represent one of the oldest castles in Moravia. The fortress originally functioned as a strategic military outpost intended to protect the Amber Road, an important trade route leading toward Poland.
A reconstructed castle tower is open to the public, housing an exhibition of historical weapons, armor, and documents. The grounds also include an on-site restaurant located within the historical complex.
