Sokolica is a 747-meter-high mountain peak and rocky ridge situated within the Pieniny National Park. It rises approximately 300 meters directly above the Dunajec River. The summit is characterized by its unique relict pines, including a famous specimen growing directly from the rock.
The peak serves as a viewpoint offering panoramic vistas of the Dunajec River Gorge and the Tatra Mountains. It is a prominent feature of the Pieniny range, known for its scenic and natural value.
Access to the peak is available via marked hiking trails originating from Szczawnica and Krościenko nad Dunajcem.
