The bridge is a natural geological formation situated at the narrowest point of the island, where the land measures approximately 30 feet (10 meters) wide. This landmark serves as a dramatic divide between the deep blue, turbulent waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the calm, turquoise waters of the Bight or the Caribbean.
It functions as a vital transportation link via the Queen's Highway, connecting the northern and southern regions of the island. Often referred to as the narrowest place on earth, the site is a frequent stop for photography due to the stark visual contrast between the two bodies of water.
