Facilities include learner slopes, terrain parks, snowparks, and dedicated freeride zones. The landscape is noted for steep black diamond chutes and extensive off-piste areas.
The site features facilities for winter sports and high-altitude walking. Various seasonal sporting events are held throughout the winter season, and the terrain accommodates all skill levels for skiers and snowboarders.
The mountain range served as a filming location for the Lord of the Rings film trilogy. Specifically, it provided the setting for Dimrill Dale in the film The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
