Kasteel Hrádek u Nechanic

Built between 1839 and 1857 by Count Franz Ernst Harrach, this Gothic Revival château is designed in the romantic style of Tudor Gothic. Often described as a piece of England, the structure is recognized as a National Cultural Heritage site and bears an architectural resemblance to Hluboká Castle. The estate includes a large English park and a historic clock tower containing technical exhibits.

The interior features richly decorated representative halls, including the Golden Hall and the Knight's Hall. These spaces are furnished with an extensive collection of historical furniture and art objects sourced from across Europe. Guided tours explore the private apartments and guest quarters, providing insight into the personal life of the Harrach family and the broader nobility during the 19th century.

The castle is open to the public and serves as a frequent filming location for various movies and television series. In addition to standard guided routes, the site hosts special events and heritage exhibitions. Access to the interiors is available through several tour routes focusing on aristocratic life and historical technical features.
