The Orrido di Bellano is a natural gorge created approximately 1.5 million years ago through the erosive action of the Pioverna stream and the Adda Glacier. The site is characterized by deep rock formations and a series of waterfalls carved into the landscape over millennia.
A system of suspended walkways is anchored directly into the high canyon walls, providing a close view of the water and the surrounding lush vegetation. The site is a natural park where the force of water has shaped the stone into unique geological structures.
Located at the entrance is the Cà del Diavol (Devil's House), a hexagonal tower of mysterious origin. The site is open to the public, with a designated path network that allows for exploration of the canyon's interior.
