It serves as a significant example of historical garden architecture that combines a structured Baroque foundation with 19th-century Romantic landscape design. The grounds are closely associated with the Arcibiskupský zámek.
The area is characterized by a vast collection of rare and exotic trees, extensive lawns, and a network of water canals and ponds. Architectural features integrated into the landscape include cast-iron bridges and the Pompeian Colonnade. A small collection of animals is also maintained within the park.
The garden is open to the public year-round for walking and relaxation. It serves as a significant site for the appreciation of historical botanical collections and landscape design.
