University of the Incarnate Word

The University of the Incarnate Word is a private, Catholic university with its main campus in San Antonio and Alamo Heights, Texas. Founded in 1881 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, the university's main campus is located on 154 acres. It is the largest Catholic university in Texas.

The university encompasses 11 schools and colleges, 2 campuses in Mexico, a European Study Center, Global Online as well as a co-educational high school, St. Anthony Catholic High School.
