This site is a major section of the Wallachian Open-Air Museum, the largest facility of its kind in the Czech Republic. It preserves original historical buildings relocated from the surrounding area and reconstructions that illustrate traditional life and customs.
The area represents the traditional way of life in the Wallachian cultural landscape through a collection of timbered cottages and farm buildings. These structures showcase traditional technologies, agriculture, regional crafts, and folk customs.
