Fontanna Jupitera

This Baroque fountain was completed in its current form in 1735 by the sculptor Philipp Sattler. It is part of a collection of seven lavishly decorated historic fountains and is designated as a national cultural monument. The central feature of the monument is a sculpture depicting the Roman god Jupiter, who is shown with an eagle positioned at his feet.

While some historical records associate the site with the year 1707, the existing sculptural work dates to the mid-18th century. As the youngest of the city's Baroque fountains, it belongs to a protected ensemble of historical monuments and columns. The fountain is situated in a public square and is accessible to the public.
