The National Taiwan Museum, established in 1908, is the oldest museum in Taiwan. It was founded by the colonial government during Taiwan's period of Japanese rule. The museum is located in Zhongzheng District, Taipei.

Opening hours

Tue - Sun: 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Closed on Mondays, Chinese New Year’s Eve and Chinese New Year’s Day

Free guided tours are offered daily at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm.

Students (with ID): TWD 15
Preschoolers, seniors (over 65): free

There is no entrance fee during the last 30 min before closing hour.
