Vlkova Tower

This massive 13th-century Gothic tower is the most substantial surviving element of the medieval fortification system. Historically, the structure served a strategic role by guarding the Vienna Gate, which was the primary entrance from the south. As a designated Cultural Heritage Site, the tower remains a significant example of medieval defensive architecture.

The tower is open to the public and functions as an observation point providing panoramic views. It also houses a specialized wine information center for VOC Znojmo, which provides information on regional wineries and offers wine tastings.
