Klein Palace

Constructed between 1847 and 1848, this Neo-Renaissance palace was designed by architect Ludwig Förster as the primary residence for the Klein family, a prominent group of entrepreneurs. The building is a designated cultural monument and is architecturally significant for its pioneering use of iron in the facade's decorative elements, most notably its distinctive cast-iron bay windows.

The palace currently serves multiple commercial and public purposes. It houses the Mahen Library's Department of Classical Music and the IN-centrum, which facilitates cultural programs and literary discussions. Other occupants include a branch of the Czech Bar Association and a bank, alongside residential spaces.
