The facility covers an area of 5,000 square meters. Its design emphasizes environmental sustainability and integrates with the surrounding residential district. The building serves as both a scientific institution and an architectural landmark.

The interior houses interactive exhibitions and educational displays focused on biodiversity, geology, and alpine prehistory. Specialized sections explore environmental science, modern technologies, and sustainability through scientific workshops and permanent galleries. The museum is open to the public and hosts various educational events.
