Monastery Church of Nativity

The Baroque monastery church was completed in 1666 under the direction of the architect Antonio de Alfieri. It was built for the order of Discalced Augustinians, who were invited to spread the Catholic faith in the period following the Battle of White Mountain. The building is designated as a Cultural Heritage Site and serves as an abbey church.

The edifice is an integral part of a larger Augustinian monastery complex. It is officially recognized as a place of worship within the diocesan catalog of České Budějovice and represents a significant historical and architectural monument of the Roman Catholic faith.
