The Zaraysk Kremlin is a rectangular fortified citadel, built on the orders of the Grand Prince Vasili III, originally constructed between 1528 and 1531, and located in the European part of Russia. It forms the historic centre of the industrial town of Zaraysk, roughly 160 km to the south-east of Moscow.
