Statuia Libertății din New York este un monument în portul „Liberty Island” din orașul New York. A fost plasat în anul 1886 la intrarea portului de pe insulă cu scopul de a transmite călătorilor sosiți salutul de bun venit pe pământ american. Statuia este un cadou al Franței făcut Statelor Unite ale Americii cu ocazia aniversării a 110 de ani de la câștigarea independenței Statelor Unite și inaugurată de președintele Grover Cleveland la 28 octombrie 1886.

Pedestal access is included in the ferry ticket price. To ascend to the crown, you need to purchase a special ticket ($3) together with the ferry ticket. The Hospital tours ($40) are available only to visitors over the age of 13.
It is recommended to purchase your tickets in advance - either to book them online or by telephone.
