Ribeira do Ferreiro Pond

This scenic site consists of a permanent pond situated at the base of a large, imposing escarpment. Numerous waterfalls cascade down the rock face, continuously feeding the water mass below.

The area is designated as part of the Protected Landscape Area of the Central Zone and Cliffs of the West Coast, which is integrated into the Natural Park. It is situated near the fajãs of the central plateau and is noted for being a significant natural landmark.
