Faulhorn

The mountain reaches an elevation of 2,681 meters and is characterized by its expansive views of the Bernese Alps, Lake Brienz, and Lake Thun. A network of hiking trails leads to the summit.

A historic hotel, the Berghotel Faulhorn, sits directly on the summit. Built in 1830, the structure remains largely preserved in its original state. During the winter season, the area hosts the longest sledding track in Europe.

The site is a destination for both hikers and winter sports enthusiasts. Accommodation is available at the summit inn, which has been in operation for nearly two centuries.
