Žerotín Chateau

Originally a 14th-century Gothic castle, the structure was rebuilt into its current form during the first half of the 16th century by the Žerotín family. The building stands on the site of a former wooden fortress and is characterized by its Renaissance and Romantic architecture, including distinctive slender towers. It is a designated cultural monument situated within an urban monument reserve.

The chateau currently houses the Muzeum Novojičínska, a regional museum and cultural facility. It hosts various galleries and cultural exhibitions, most notably a permanent display dedicated to hat fashion alongside local history collections. The facility is open to the public.
