Marian Column

The Baroque plague column was constructed between 1715 and 1723 as a gesture of thanks for the end of a plague epidemic. It has been recognized as a national cultural monument since 1995 due to its historical and artistic significance.

The monument is characterized by its elaborate sculptural elements, which include a statue of the Virgin Mary and representations of various saints. The design reflects the detailed craftsmanship of the Baroque period.
