Могила Милана Растислава Штефаника

This monumental memorial serves as the final resting place of Milan Rastislav Štefánik, a prominent General, politician, diplomat, and aviator. Designed by the architect Dušan Jurkovič, the structure is recognized as a European Heritage site and a significant example of Art Deco memorial architecture.

The monument is constructed from travertine and is characterized by its distinctive terraced design. Four stone obelisks stand at the corners of the structure, contributing to its symbolic and imposing appearance. The site is officially classified as a tumulus.

The site provides expansive panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. It is accessible to the public and functions as both a historical monument and a scenic viewpoint.
