Opened in 1856, this historic tower originally functioned as an optical telegraph and semaphore station to communicate with the Îles du Salut. The structure was part of a 19th-century agricultural penitentiary and bears the name of Alfred Dreyfus, a French artillery officer. Located at the Pointe des Roches, the tower stands as a landmark witnessing the region's penitential history.
