Distillery District

This National Historic Site is a pedestrian-oriented area characterized by a well-preserved collection of Victorian-era industrial architecture. It contains more than 30 buildings constructed between the 1830s and 1890s, representing the largest assembly of such structures in North America. The district functions as a cultural hub where historic warehouse buildings have been repurposed for modern commercial and artistic use.

The district features a concentration of art galleries, theatres, and boutiques. Numerous restaurants and cafés are located throughout the neighborhood. It is a designated arts and entertainment destination that remains open to the public year-round for shopping and dining.

Seasonal programming includes events such as The Distillery Winter Village, a popular Christmas market. The area's layout is entirely pedestrian-only, facilitating access to the various stylish industrial spaces and outdoor installations.
