Мечеть Синан-паши

Built in 1615 by the builder Sinan Pasha, this structure is a prominent example of Ottoman architecture. The construction utilized stone sourced from the former Serbian Orthodox Monastery of the Holy Archangels. The building underwent significant restoration beginning in 2008.

It is defined by its massive dome and a soaring 42-meter minaret, which serves as a dominant feature of the skyline. Its design is characteristic of the 17th-century Ottoman style and is noted for its landmark presence in the city center.

The interior is noted for its extensive 19th-century paintings, which include unique examples of representational art. These decorations, along with other rich interior elements, contribute to its status as a significant architectural monument.
