Katara Cultural Village

Inaugurated in 2010, this architectural complex is designed to resemble a traditional village and an oriental souk. The site serves as a hub for arts and heritage, acting as a meeting place for intellectuals and artists while supporting creative energy. The complex is open to the public.

The village contains a diverse array of venues, including an amphitheatre, an opera house, a cinema, and various theaters and art galleries. Scientific and educational interests are represented by a planetarium and museums. Prominent mosques are located within the grounds, which serve as a venue for festivals, exhibitions, and concerts.

The site also functions as a commercial center featuring restaurants and shopping facilities. Outdoor areas include a beach along the waterfront.
