Christ Church Cathedral

Consecrated in 1892, this is the southernmost Anglican cathedral in the world. The building was constructed between 1890 and 1892 using local stone and brick. It serves as the parish church for the Falkland Islands, South Georgia, and the British Antarctic Territory.

The interior contains historic stained glass windows from the 19th and 20th centuries, a pipe organ, and locally-stitched needlepoint hassocks. The architectural features include a tower housing five bells.

Located outside the building is a prominent Whalebone Arch monument, which is a notable landmark associated with the site. The cathedral remains an active place of worship and a central historical site for the local community.
