Plaza de la Virgen

This historic pedestrian square occupies the former site of an ancient Roman forum. The space is paved with cobblestones and serves as a significant cultural landmark.

Iconic architectural landmarks surround the perimeter, including the Cathedral of Santa María, the Basilica of the Virgin of the Forsaken (also known as the Basilica of the Virgin of the Helpless), and the Palace of the Generalitat.

A central fountain serves as a focal point, featuring sculptures that represent the Turia river. The square is a dedicated pedestrian zone and is open to the public.
