This historic public bathhouse is a designated cultural heritage monument notable for its Moorish Revival architecture and distinctive colorful mosaic facade. The structure is part of a complex of ancient bathhouses built directly over natural hot sulfur springs, characterized by Persian-style brick domes.

The site is traditionally associated with the legend of King Vakhtang Gorgasali, who is said to have discovered the thermal springs while hunting. This discovery is historically credited with leading to the founding of the city.

The facility provides traditional sulfur bath experiences and is open to the public. It features private rooms for mineral water treatments and offers traditional massages. The interior maintains a therapeutic, steamy atmosphere powered by the natural heat of the mineral springs.
