Собор Святого Георгия

This Anglican cathedral and designated National Monument stands 43.5 meters tall, making it one of the world's tallest freestanding wooden structures. It serves as the seat of the Bishop of Guyana.

Designed by the architect Sir Arthur Blomfield, the building was completed in 1894. It is constructed in the Gothic Revival style using a timber frame, distinguishing it from the stone cathedrals common during that era.

The structure remains a significant religious site and a primary place of worship.
