Broumov Brewery Museum

The brewery is among the oldest in Central Europe, with brewing traditions in the area established in 1348. The current facility was founded by Benedictine monks between 1712 and 1714. Today, it operates as a family-owned independent brewery producing the OPAT brand of traditional Czech-style monastery beer.

The onsite museum contains an extensive collection of historical brewing technologies, tools, and machinery. Exhibitions include a stylized early 20th-century pub, a brewmaster's office, and a brewer's household from the Secession period. Guided tours provide access to the production facilities, including a classic floor malting house, and are often combined with beer tastings.
