Kamenice nad Lipou Castle

This historic structure was originally established as a 13th-century fortress before being reconstructed into its current Neoclassical and Renaissance form. Since 1998, the site has been managed by the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. The interior houses diverse permanent exhibitions, including a significant collection of historical toys, furniture design, and locksmithing works. The local municipal museum is also located within the premises.

The castle is surrounded by an English-style park situated near the Kamenice river. This garden contains a notable large-leaf linden tree, which is approximately 700 to 800 years old and serves as a key landmark of the grounds. The castle and its exhibitions are open to the public.
