Originally built in 1966 for the production of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, this site is one of the most prominent Western film sets in Europe. It has served as a filming location for numerous television and film productions over the decades and continues to function as an active studio today.
The grounds contain several distinct architectural environments, including an authentic Western town and a Mexican village set. These locations provide the setting for daily Western shows that feature staged gunfights, mock shoot-outs, and barroom brawls. The facility showcases the history of filmmaking through its preserved structures and cinematic atmosphere.
The park is open to the public, allowing for the exploration of the Old West and Spanish-style sets. It combines historical film preservation with live entertainment based on traditional Western tropes.
