Kennin-ji Zen Buddhist Temple

Kennin-ji is one of the head Zen temples and it consists of several buildings. They are situated in a beautiful garden with lots of trees and ponds. The temple was established in the 13th century but many of the buildings of which the temple complex consists were added later on.
