Kostel sv. Petra z Alkantary

Built in 1736, this Baroque Roman Catholic church serves as a place of worship for the local parish. Following extensive damage from ground subsidence caused by coal mining, the building underwent a general repair and was re-consecrated in 2000. It currently hosts regular masses and special religious celebrations throughout the year.

The structure is renowned for its significant 6.8-degree tilt, which resulted from the undermining of the area. This unique characteristic has led to its inclusion in the Czech Book of Records and Curiosities as the most leaning church in the country.

The building, frequently called the "leaning church," is the central motif of the historical novel Šikmý kostel by the author Karin Lednická. It is protected as a Cultural Heritage Site and is open to the public for religious services and as a landmark.
