Standing as the tallest statue in Vietnam, this colossal monument of the Buddhist figure Guanyin reaches a height of 70 meters. When including its 17-meter-high base, the entire structure stands 87 meters tall. It is recognized globally as one of the tallest statues in existence.

The monument was completed in 2010. It represents Guanyin, also known as Quan Am, and serves as a significant landmark on the Son Tra Peninsula. The statue is an example of Mahayana Buddhist artwork and is classified as a colossal statue.

The site is often visited in conjunction with the adjacent Linh Ung Pagoda. Due to its massive scale, the statue is a prominent landmark that is visible from the air, including during helicopter tours of the surrounding coastal region.
