2329 meters tall, this volcano ranks amongst the most active ones and also the most visited mountains in the country. If you want to visit the volcano, head first for the village of Cemoro Lawang - from there it's roughly a 45-minute walk to the mount. Be sure to check warnings regarding volcanic activity prior to your hike.
