Constructed in 1982, this monumental building is one of the largest and greatest synagogues in Jerusalem. When inside, note its breathtaking stained glass windows and the exhibit of the impressive Judaic art collection.

The synagogue serves as a religious, cultural and social center of the city and it is used as a venue for weddings, banquets, and other ceremonies. It also draws many visitors during Shabbatot, Israel Independence Day, and other important holidays.

Admission

Free admission - donations are always welcome.

Please note that to enter the Sanctuary, visitors must be appropriately attired: men must have head covering and women must wear modest dress.
