Mur de la Paix

A memorial built in 2000 to remind its visitors of the importance of peace. It's made of steel, wood and glass. It features 32 columns with the word "peace" written on them in 49 languages (and 18 different alphabets). The place where it stands was not chosen accidentally. With the military school located nearby, this place now connects both war and peace.

You can see the Eiffel Tower perfectly from the monument. Consider visiting this place in the evening when both the tower and the monument are lit up. And don't forget your camera because the pictures of the two are stunning.
