อนุสาวรีย์เทพีเสรีภาพ หรือ เทพีเสรีภาพ เป็นอนุสาวรีย์ที่ยิ่งใหญ่ และมีคุณค่าทางจิตใจ ในภาษาอังกฤษ เรียกว่า Statue of Liberty แต่เดิมชื่อว่า Liberty Enlightening the World ตั้งอยู่ ณ เกาะลิเบอร์ตี อ่าวนิวยอร์ก ที่นครนิวยอร์ก รัฐนิวยอร์ก ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา ซึ่งเป็นของขวัญที่ชาวฝรั่งเศสมอบให้แก่ชาวอเมริกัน ในวันที่อเมริกาเฉลิมฉลองวันชาติครบ 100 ปี ณ วันที่ 4 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2419 โดยส่งมอบอย่างเป็นทางการ โดยมี ประธานาธิบดีโกรเวอร์ คลีฟแลนด์ ในวันที่ 28 ตุลาคม พ.ศ. 2429
เทพีเสรีภาพ เป็นประติมากรรมโลหะสำริด รูปเทพีลิเบอร์ตาส เทพีแห่งเสรีภาพของโรมัน ห่มเสื้อคลุม มือขวาชูคบเพลิง มือซ้ายถือแผ่นจารึกคำประกาศอิสรภาพของสหรัฐฯ และมีอักษรสลักว่า "JULY IV MDCCLXXVI" หรือ วันที่ 4 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2319 เท้าข้างหนึ่งมีโซ่ที่ขาด แสดงถึงความหลุดพ้นจากการเป็นทาส สวมมงกุฎ 7 แฉกซึ่งเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของทะเลทั้งเจ็ด หรือทวีปทั้งเจ็ด ภายในมีบันไดวนรวมทั้งสิ้น 162 ขั้น เกิดขึ้นตามแนวคิดของเอดูอาร์ด เดอ ลาบูลาเย นักประวัติศาสตร์ ชาวฝรั่งเศส เพื่อระลึกถึงความสัมพันธ์ของสหรัฐอเมริกาและฝรั่งเศสระหว่างการปฏิวัติอเมริกัน…

Please note that the wait times to board any ferry can be over 90 minutes during peak months (Apr-Sep) and holidays.

Adults: $18.50
Seniors (62+): $14
Children (4-12 years): $9
Children (under 4): free
Pedestal access is included in the ferry ticket price. To ascend to the crown, you need to purchase a special ticket ($3) together with the ferry ticket. The Hospital tours ($40) are available only to visitors over the age of 13.
It is recommended to purchase your tickets in advance - either to book them online or by telephone.
