The complex is a large Baroque palace in which a small historic museum and a multimedia presentation about the 1805 battle are housed. Architectural development into the present Baroque form began in the late 17th century, with an inception date recorded as 1769 and architectural attribution to Domenico Martinelli. Interiors combine Baroque and later Classicist elements and include frescoes and stucco work executed by Italian artists.
Prominent interior spaces include a grand Ancestors' Hall and a Historical Hall where the armistice after the Battle of Austerlitz (1805) was signed. The adjacent park is a reconstructed historical garden restored to its former Baroque appearance.
The site functions as a museum site open to the public and provides guided tours; on-site facilities mentioned in official material include a cafe and a restaurant. The premises are also used as a venue for weddings and corporate events.
