Historic 13th-century Gothic cathedral that serves as a primary place of worship. It is the largest and oldest surviving Gothic structure on the island.

Historic 16th-century Ottoman caravanserai that serves as a vibrant cultural and arts center. It features traditional architecture with a central courtyard and is among the largest and best-preserved of its kind.

Ledra Street
Major shopping thoroughfare and historic crossing point between the northern and southern parts of the city. It previously hosted a United Nations buffer zone barricade that symbolized the city's division until 2008.

Ledra Museum-Observatory
Not really a museum. Nevertheless, this is a great place to take in the city of Lefkosia - both the Greek and the Turkish part.

Holy Cross Catholic Church
Quite a curious sight, this church is one of the few Roman Catholic churches on the island. The back door leads to the Turkish area.

Largest municipal garden and prominent public green space. This area of greenery was established in 1969.

A renewed area that is now the tourist centre of Nicosia. Here, you can find the typical houses, shops and tavernas.

Hamam Omerye
Historic public bathhouse and wellness spa featuring traditional architecture. This cultural landmark dates back to the 14th century and remains in operation as a functional bathhouse.

Archbishop's Palace
Official residence and office of the Archbishop of Cyprus and seat of the Orthodox Church of Cyprus. This neo-Byzantine structure was built between 1956 and 1960 and houses several museums and a library on its grounds.
