If you are into Neo-futurist architecture, definitely start your tour around Malmö at the Turning Torso, a residential skyscraper and the tallest building in Scandinavia. Then head to the city center and see the St. Peter's Church, a large Gothic church and also the oldest building in the city. Stroll around Gamla Väster and stop by at Fiskehoddorna. Even if you don't want to buy any fish, you'll be charmed by this little fish market that still works in a traditional way.

Your next stop is Scandinavia's oldest Renaissance castle. The fortress now houses various collections of Malmö Museum, including old paintings, stuffed animals or torture instruments. There is also a gallery dedicated to Nordic art. Finish your day on the Ribersborg Beach, the most popular beach in the city. There is a nice promenade running along the beach which makes for a great walk.
