Synagogue Foundations

These Romanesque-Moorish foundations are all that remains of a synagogue constructed in 1863. The original building was destroyed by fire during the Nazi occupation in 1939. Currently situated within Gustav Mahler Park, the site features the preserved masonry of the structure and a memorial plaque commemorating the history of the local Jewish community.
