Kolín Beet Railway

This 600mm narrow-gauge railway was established in 1894 to transport sugar beets across the Polabí region. After operating until 1966, a 4.5-kilometer section of the track was reconstructed and reopened in 2007. The site functions as a museum railway, preserving the industrial heritage of the local sugar industry through seasonal passenger operations using both steam and diesel locomotives.

The grounds include a museum of railway history and exhibits dedicated to the transport of sugar beets. Educational trails and playgrounds are also located on-site. The railway operates on a seasonal basis, showcasing historical rolling stock and narrow-gauge engineering.
