This Gothic cylindrical tower stands 40 meters tall and is the primary preserved element of a castle founded in the late 13th century. Historical records first mention the fortification in 1359, noting it was built by the Moravian Margrave John Henry. The structure underwent significant construction around the year 1400.
Situated on Zámecký vrch, the tower was originally a gothic fortification before being restored and converted into an observation tower in 1904. It is a designated cultural heritage site notable for its unique roof shape, which is a direct circular conoid.
The tower is open to the public and serves as a prominent landmark. It offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
