Completed in 1950 by architect Bertel Liljeqvist, this Lutheran church is a landmark of the post-war reconstruction era. It was inaugurated on August 20, 1950, to replace a wooden structure destroyed during the Second World War. The exterior is distinguished by a red cross mounted on the tower.
The interior features a large fresco and altarpiece titled 'Source of Life' (Elämän lähde) by Lennart Segerstråle. Unique decorative elements include wall paintings by Antti Salmenlinna that feature reindeer instead of traditional sheep. The building is wheelchair accessible and serves as a site for Christian services and festivities.
