Ægir Brewery

Founded in 2007 by Aud Melås and Evan Lewis, this award-winning microbrewery and gastropub is built in a style inspired by Norse mythology. The architecture incorporates traditional craftsmanship, including dragon heads and a signature nine-meter-high fireplace that serves as a central feature of the interior.

While the company has ceased its own production of beer and spirits, the brewery pub remains operational. The menu focuses on local ingredients paired with a selection of craft beers. The facility includes both a restaurant and a shop.

The building is designed to evoke a traditional Viking atmosphere, situated near the fjord. It functions as a venue for both dining and sightseeing due to its unique architectural details and historical themes.
