Orlík Castle

Founded around 1400, this Gothic hilltop castle is now a preserved ruin. The site features a restored keep that was converted into a lookout tower in 2014, providing views of the surrounding landscape. The complex includes various historical fortifications and a castle museum dedicated to regional history. It has been a protected cultural monument since 1963.

The site is managed by the Castrum o.p.s. organization, which also oversees the nearby Zichpil urban open-air museum. Throughout the year, the grounds serve as a venue for medieval festivals, cultural events, and historical commemorations. Educational programs focus on local history. The castle is open to the public for exploration.
