The Warrior on Horseback is a monumental fountain and sculpture complex featuring a bronze depiction of Alexander the Great. The central sculpture stands approximately 14.5 meters tall, while the entire monument reaches a total height of 22 meters. The base of the fountain is decorated with figures of soldiers and lions.

Unveiled on September 8, 2011, the monument was erected as part of the Skopje 2014 project, a government initiative aimed at nation-building and enhancing the urban landscape. It serves as a national hero monument intended to commemorate historical identity.

The contemporary artwork was designed by sculptor Valentina Stefanovska. It is designated as a National Monument and remains a significant, though controversial, landmark. The monument is situated in a public area and is open to the public.
